Pimelea suaveolens - Scented Banjine - 20 seeds


This is an Australian native shrub that grows naturally in forest areas of SW WA on sand, sandy clay, gravel, laterite on undulating plains, flats, ridges and roadsides.


It has an erect, spindly and multi stemmed habit, growing 0.2 - 1.5m tall with small lemon yellow to green flowers in a hairy inflorescence 30 - 40mm in diameter, the flowers are surrounded by hairy petal like bracts, these flowers are pendulous and are quite attractive occurring from Winter to Spring.


Best in well drained soil in part shade, it is moderately frost and drought tolerant.
