Picea rubens - Red Spruce / Eastern Spruce / Yellow Spruce - 30 seeds

This grows as a tall evergreen conifer 18 - 40m tall in its native habitat of Canada and Northern USA, with a broad upright or oval habit and narrowly conic crown of needle like yellow green to dark green leaves on horizontally spreading branches.
 
This species forms a broader crown that the other Eastern Spruces and makes a fantastic Bonsai specimen.
 
Seed cones are ovoid in shape and are a glossy orange brown colour.
It prefers to be grown in full sun but can tolerate some shade when young.
