A lovely little Melaleuca with greyish foliage and dainty white flowers!Myrtaceae species - No shipment to WA or TASThis WA native grows as a bushy,erect and spreading shrub growing 0.6 - 2m tall, rarely to 5m with narrow, lance shaped leaves, these leaves and the young branches are covered with fine, soft hairs that gives the foliage a pretty grey to silver appearance.In late Winter to Spring, creamy white to yellow flowers occur on small flower spikes, usually at the ends of branches, 30mm long x 15mm wide, these are followed by a woody capsule that is cup shaped and 3 - 4mm in diameter, in clusters up to 20mm long.Makes a cute garden specimen for flowers and foliage, also attracts birds, bees, butterflies and other insects.Best in full sun in moist but well drained soil, occurring naturally on grey brown sand in swamps and depressions, endemic to the south coast of WA.This listing is for 100 seeds shipped on receipt of cleared funds.
