Magnolia champaca syn Michelia champaca - Joy Tree / Golden Champaca - 10 seeds

This SE Asian native is a lovely tree with a rounded crown and a slender light grey trunk and mid green shiny leaves to 25cm long.  Creamy yellow to orange flowers occur in Summer to Autumn, they have a beautiful fragrance and are used to make the most expensive perfume in the world!
The seeds that follow ripen in the Winter.  
 
Water well until established and then can be watered less, best in subtropical, tropical frost free climates in moist humus rich, well drained soil in a full sun position.
Birds, butterflies, bees and insects are attracted to the flowers.
 
Pruning is rarely needed as it has an attractive rounded habit.
