Leptospermum polygalifolium syn Leptospermum flavescens, commonly known as Yellow Tea Tree is a medium sized tea tree shrub normally growing from to 0.5 to 3m in height and 1m in width and its natural habitat is the central south coast of New South Wales extending s to northern NSW.
It has grey green foliage with,the leaves are sometimes lightly aromatic, flowers are usually white but may be greenish, off white to pale pink 10 to 15mm in diameter, occurring singly on modified shoots on the ends of very short or long branches
This species has been in cultivation for many years, is a hardy shrub with neat foliage that adapts to most soils in a sunny location provided ample water is available and frequently attracts insects to the flowers so is attractive to small birds. . 
Frost hardy - Plants given an this rating will tolerate frosts to -7°C in conditions of normal rainfall
Can be used as a feature, cut flowers, makes a hedge or screen and great in tropical areas.
