This is an adaptable Aussie native spreading shrub that is endemic to QLD and is near threatened in the wild, grows 1 - 4m tall, growing naturally on rocky ridges in heathland, open woodland and dry sclerophyll forest.
It has oblong to egg shaped leaves with creamy yellow flowers, grouped in 8 - 15 at the ends of branches in terminal clusters, 10 - 13mm in diameter and the fruit that follows is an urn shaped capsule 5mm long.
Makes a great garden shrub, informal hedge or screen, bonsai specimen and attracts birds, bees, butterflies and other insects.
Best in well drained soil in full sun, it is frost resistant and drought tender so be sure to give adequate water.
