Grevillea plurijuga superba - Red Plumed Grevillea - 10 seeds

Grevillea plurijuga superba, commonly known as the Red Plumed Grevillea, is a shrub that grows to 2m in height and 2m in width and occurs naturally in south Western Australia.

Foliage is lacy, finely divided and glossy bright green.  This is a long-flowering species with creamish to reddish pink flowers that are produced over many months.  They are very conspicuous as they are produced on long branched racemes that are borne very prominently and as with most Grevillea it is very popular with nectar seeking birds.

This species occurs naturally on white sand It prefers full sun to partial shade in well drained soil and is marginally frost tolerant, down to about -3°C.
