This is a SW WA native that grows naturally in sandy or gravelly loam in low Mallee woodland, in open heath in sandy or gravelly soils,  it is a reliable species that is long lived and reaches approximately 1.2m in height..  
Grevillea biternata is a small prickly shrub that has spiky foliage that provides an excellent habitat and protection for small birds as well as being a great barrier plant, small hedge, low screen and attracts bees, butterflies and other insects.
The white to yellow flowers that occur from late Winter to Spring have a delicious vanilla scent!
