Gompholobium scabrum, commonly known as the Painted Lady Pea, is a bushy shrub growing to 1.5m with linear heath-like leaves and spectacular large mauve pea flowers in the leaf axils in Spring.

This is an outstanding plant but it can be difficult to maintain.  
It likes part shade in well drained mulched soil and is frost hardy but does not take humidity well.  It can make an excellent feature plant.
