Gompholobium hendersonii - Red Bonnets Pea - 30 Seeds

Gompholobium hendersonii, commonly known as the Red Bonnets Pea, is a bushy shrub to approximately 1.5m with much in common with its cousin Gompholobium scabrum, except that the flowers are a brilliant vibrant red.  It has linear heath like leaves and spectacular large red pea flowers in the leaf axils in spring.

This is an outstanding plant but it can be difficult to maintain and prefers part shade in well drained and well mulched soil.  It is frost hardy but does not take humidity well and can make an excellent feature plant.
