Eucalyptus woodwardii, or the Lemon Flowered Gum as it is also known, is an upright narrow tree with an open crown growing to between 6 - 12m in height and is a fast growing native from Western Australia. 
It has pendulous branches and bluish leaves making it attractive for its foliage and showy, prominent, large clusters of bright yellow flowers and white to silver gum nuts that together cause the branches to bend down. 


Best in warm dry areas with light sandy well drained soils that suit its deep rooted nature, it is drought and frost resistant and flowers when very young. 
It is suited as an ornamental feature and is commonly used as a street tree in South Australia and inland towns of Western Australia.
