Eucalyptus pauciflora ssp debeuzevillei, commonly known as the Jounama snow gum is a lignotunerous small tree or Mallee to 10m in height and is one of the Snow Gums and one of the most cold-hardy of all the Eucalyptus. It has a restricted range occurring naturally only on high peaks south from Mt Franklin in the Australian Capital Territory to the Jounama Range near Yarrangobilly, and Yaouk Peak area, in the high mountains of SE New South Wales.

Bark is smooth, grey, white, cream or light brown, often with scribbles, branchlets are usually glaucous.  The juvenile growth is usually glaucous with the juvenile leaves opposite and shortly petiolate then alternate, ovate to broadly lanceolate, 6 to 9cm in length, 3 to 5.5cm wide, dull, blue-green or glaucous.  Adult leaves are alternate, with the blade broadly lanceolate to lanceolate or falcate, 7.5 to 18cm in length and 1.6 to 5cm wide in a consistent glossy green to blue-green.

Flowers are white, occasionally yellow, and appear in the Summer.
