This NW QLD Australian native grows as a amllee or tree to 6m tall, forming a lignotuber with grey to whitish grey rough box type bark throughout and is finely fissured.
 
Juvenile leaves dull green, lanceolate, 6.5 - 12cm long x 3.5 - 5cm wide and adult leaves a dull light green to grey green, usually lanceolate to falcate, 8 - 14cm long x 1.2 - 2.6cm wide, concolorous with an entire margin.
 
The inflorescences are 7 flowered umbels, rarely 3 flowered with flowers being a lovely creamy white occurring in Autumn to Winter.
 
Best in well drained soil in full sun.
