Adult leaves are lanceolate to falcate, 6 to 22cm long and 0.5 to 6cm wide in a consistently glossy green.  Flowers are creamy white and appear in Spring and early Summer.
It is an excellent and attractive feature tree this is a bird attracting species that can make a good look alike substitute for Corymbia citriodora, the Lemon Scented Gum, in frosty areas.
