Eucalyptus camaldulensis v obtusa - River Red Gum - 100 seeds

This grows as a large tree up to 30m in height with a lignotuber absent or present and has a restricted natural range in the tropical north of Australia from the Kimberley region in WA east through to the Top End of the NT to the Gulf of Carpentaria hinterland in QLD.
Juvenile leaves are blueish green to blue grey or glaucous, lanceolate to ovate 9.7 - 15.5cm long x 2 - 3.5cm wide and adult leaves are dull or slightly glossy green 14 - 27cm long x 1.2 - 2.5cm wide and lanceolate to falcate in shape.
It has 7 buds per umbel with the buds opening up in Spring to reveal white flowers.
This variety is distinguished by the white, smooth and seasonally powdery bark, dull to slightly glossy green adult leaves with densely to very densely reticulate venation, obtusely conical operculum 0.4 - 0.7cm long at maturity and glaucous juvenile growth.
