Eucalyptus caesia ssp caesia - Gungurru - 50 seeds

The Gungurru is a small Eucalypt growing to a maximum of 5m in cultivation and has a striking profusion of pink to red flowers which combine with the silver to white urn shaped seed pods to make a delightful picture.  
 
The trunk has attractive deep brown Minnirichi bark that peels in small curly flakes.  It is quick to grow and flower and with its umbrella shaped crown and upright habit it makes a good feature tree.
 
This is the smaller, upright version of this species with Silver Princess (Eucalyptus caesia ssp magna) being the weeping form. 
 
It prefers full sun or can take partial shade and will grow in any well drained soil and is easy to propagate from seed.
 
It is drought resistant and moderately frost tolerant.
