Daviesia cordata - Bookleaf - 20 seeds

This is an West Australian native erect shrub found naturally on undulating plains, on hills and ridges and is a common shrub in WA but not elsewhere. 
 
It is spindly and broom-like, growing from 50cm to 2m tall with pretty heart shaped leaves, in Winter to Spring the yellow-orange and red pea shaped flowers grow in the clusters at the ends of branches, these are followed by triangular fruit enclosed by large green brown bracts - these bracts are what the common name Bookleaf refers to.
