Cyathea cooperi - Lacy Tree Fern / Scaly Tree Fern - 500 spores

Growing up to 6m tall x 3m wide, this Tree Fern has bright green and lacy fronds with a slender trunk with distinctive 'spots' where old fronds have broken off the trunk, the undersides of the fronds are covered with dusty brown sori aligned in rows.
 
Cyathea cooperi is found naturally in tropical lowlands along the coast of QLD and NSW and thrives in mild Winter Temperatures in dappled sunlight and with plenty of moisture.
 
Tree Ferns grow best in high humidity and with high soil moisture conditions, best grown with good quality mulch and top up regularly, responds well to organic fertilisers and well rotted animal manures.
