Brugmansia arborea - White Angel's Trumpet - 10 seeds
This is an evergreen shrub or small tree that is native to the Andes Mountains of southern Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, western Bolivia and northern Chile. It has strong erect stems and can reach up to 4m tall, has bright green oval leaves - the leaves, flower stalks, fruit and young shoots are covered in soft fine hairs and give a slightly white appearance.
From late Spring to Autumn long ivory white or cream trumpet flowers to 15cm are the shortest of all Brugmansias and are produced almost continuously in smaller quantities unlike those of other Burgmansias that flower in larger flushes. The flowers are sweetly perfumed and are even more fragrant at night when they are pollinated by moths.
Best grown outdoors in fertile moist, well drained soil and is tolerant of most soil types - this variety is also one of the most hardy of all Brugmansias tolerating colder and hotter temperatures than others.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PARTS OF THIS PLANT ARE HIGHLY TOXIC IF INGESTED AND THE SAP CAN BE AN IRRITANT SO CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN HANDLING!!!
