This lovely Australian native shrub is endemic to SW WA and grows as a slender, erect glabrous, rounded habit 30 - 60cm tall with pinnate leaves to 4cm long with up to 7 leaflets.
The blue to white star shaped flowers are fragrant, four petalled and occur from Autumn to Spring.
Found naturally growing on brown sandy clay over granite, yellow brown laterite soils, gravel, grey sand over limestone in SW WA on slopes and hillsides, sometimes in disused gravel pits.
Propagation by seed can be difficult but not impossible, pre-treatment with smoke or smoke water is needed to overcome seed dormancy.
