Banksia paludosa - Swamp Banksia - 5 seeds

Banksia pauldosa is an Australian Native shrub that is variable in height but grows from 1.5 to 4m in height with deep green foliage and silvery below, narrow spikes to 10cm long x 7cm wide and are pale yellow and followed by the decorative seedcones.
 
It is low maintenance, frost tolerant, and grows in a wide range of climates and garden conditions.  It is native to the east coast of Australia from central and SE NSW in open forests and woodlands occurring naturally in swampy areas but does not like waterlogged soils.
 
Attracts nectar feeding birds and mammals including the cute sugar glider!
