Banksia nivea - Honeypot Banksia - 5 Seeds

This beautiful Banksia is a rounded shrub with dense foliage growing from 0.8 to 1.2m tall and has yellow - creamy orange to pink - red/brown flowers to 40mm in diameter that emerge from the base of the shrub in Winter to Spring.  It has fern like foliage that is green, has serrated edges and silvery undersides.
 
Water at the base once a week to improve flowering and apply an open mulch - this will conserve moisture in drier climates, apply a slow release native blend 8-9 month fertiliser at planting and annually as required in Spring.
