Anigozanthos humilis - Cats Paw - 60 Seeds

This small perennial growing to 50cm tall is an eye catching plant and has beautiful orange, red and gold flowers resembling the paws of a cat and is a member of the Kangaroo Paw family.  Suitable to most climates although they go best where Summer humidity is low and the winters are not too severe, however they can be grown indoors or in pots and make a charming patio display.  These plants are popular with all nectar seeking birds and the blooms make an interesting long lived cut flower.

Plant in the Autumn or early Spring and note that they do not like organic fertilisers which promote crown rot, but do appreciate a light mulch.  They flower from Spring to Autumn.
