Acacia vestita - Hairy Wattle / Weeping Boree - 30 seeds

This is a lovely Acacia shrub with hairy greyish green ovate to elliptical phyllodes 1 - 2cm long x 5 - 10mm wide with a fine point, the branches have a weeping graceful habit and bright yellow flowers are borne in dense globular heads to 3mm in diameter that are arranged in loose racemes 3 - 5cm long in Winter - Spring.
 
Found naturally growing in open forest and woodlands in the central west of NSW, dry sclerophyll forest, often on steep slopes or sheltered gullies.
 
Prune after flowering to maintain vigour but not too hard as old wood does not regenerate.  
This is well known in cultivation and is widely planted, making a great feature, screen or hedge.
