Acacia tysonii - Tyson's Wattle - 10 seeds

This is an erect and slender or compact and rounded shrub growing 3 to 6m tall with smooth grey, green to glaucous phyllodes that are narrowly elliptic to narrowly oblong, 2 - 4.5cm long x 4 - 10mm wide.
 
Inflorecences are 2 - 4 headed racemes with globular, bright golden yellow in colour in Winter to Spring, the seed pods that follow are 5 - 10cm long x 8 - 13mm wide, smooth, ripening to a red to dark brown and moniliform (looks like a string of beads) which is very attractive!
 
Grows naturally on sand, loam and clay, usually associated with calcrete or limestone in shrubland, endemic to parts of WA.
 
Best in full sun in well drained soils.
