This is a large erect shrub that grows to 5m tall x 3m wide, it has hairy branches and greyish phyllodes that are broadly sickly shaped to 3cm long, the bright yellow blobular flowers are borne in racemes in the upper leaf axils and at the ends of branches.
It is found growing naturally in Eucalypt communities on plains in sand or sandy loam or on low rocky hills.
It is drought and frost tolerant and is a low maintenance and is best in well drained soil in full sun.
It is a lovely ornamental Wattle that could be used as a feature, the foliage is attractive and makes a great park or garden specimen.
