Acacia riceana - Rice's Wattle - 30 seeds

Acacia riceana, commonly known as Rice's Wattle, is a variable shrub, sometimes erect, sometimes pendulous that grows from 1.5 to 2m tall and is native to Tasmania.
It has rigid, pointed, dark green phyllodes and bears cream ball shaped flowers in Spring.  
 
This Tasmanian endemic has proved adaptable in both coastal and tableland areas on the mainland enjoying a bit of shade.  Flowering is not prolific but those forms with pendulous branches are quite ornamental. 
Frost hardy - will tolerate frosts to -7°C.
