Acacia elata - Mountain Cedar Wattle / Cedar Wattle - 30 seeds

This is a fast growing Australian native tree with an upright and spreading habit with a single straight trunk and rough greyish black bark at the base, with dark green bipinnate leaves that are pale green beneath and pale yellow or creamy yellow flowers are borne in globular clusters in Spring and Summer.
 
It is naturally found growing in rainforest, wet sclerophyll forests and tall open forests, mainly on the ranges of eastern Australia often in deep sandy soils particularly along watercourses and deep gullies.
 
Can be used as a feature tree, as a screen, informal hedge, windbreak or as a shade tree and is adaptable to a wide range of soils and conditions.
