Acacia chisholmii - Turpentine Bush / Chisholm's Wattle - 30 seeds
A Wattle native to Western QLD to 4m tall growing on stony often lateritic plains with shallow sandy soils, on escarpments or in undulating country in grasslands or Eucalypt-Spinifex woodland.
The bark is the attractive minniritchi bark, the phyllodes are linear and erect 1.5 - 5.5cm long and 0.8 - 2mm wide, flowers are yellow spikes 1.3 - 2.8cm long occurring in Winter and the seed pods that follow are linear to slightly curved 2.5 - 14cm long and constricted between seeds.
It is an attractive species suited to drier climates and can be used in a variety of applications.
