This Australian native Eucalypt is a West Australian species that grows on the west side of the Darling Range in granite and heavy soils, but can also grow in sandy soils. 
 
It has a well shaped habit, growing to a tree 15 - 20m tall, with a smooth trunk that is powdery, usually white turning a yellow colour in Autumn.
 
Flowers occur in profusion in the Summer months in terminal clusters.
